ALEX
MONROE JEWELLERY
Delicate and timeless in style, much of Alex Monroe's work is inspired
by nature. Alex Monroe
developed his love of the English countryside and it's wildlife in the
fields and meadows of Suffolk, later training at Goldsmith's School of
Art in London. This milieu lends Monroe's complex designs a freshness
and femininity that defines his distinctive collection. The simple
beauty of nature features throughout Alex's collections, with his love
of wildlife transcending into catwalk inspired pieces, which are always
right on-trend.
In 2008 Alex was awarded the
prestigious 'Designer of the Year' award at the UK Jewellery Awards,
where the judges voting unanimously and commented that: 'His quality is
perfect and his style is so consistent'. Alex has also been nominated
for the 2009 award.
Over the past twenty years,
Alex Monroe's core aspirations have remained the same; to make great
quality, wearable jewellery, which is originally designed and well
priced.

DESIGNER BRITAIN REVIEW
Alex
Monroe's quirky jewellery collections have long been a talking point
with the fashion crowd, and clients include journalists, designers and
stars alike. Alex Monroe is an individual and eclectic designer, yet it
is the delicacy and complexity of his nature-inspired jewellery that
marks him out. The range is also surprisingly affordable, with the
designer's signature Bumble Bee Necklace costing a mere £225.
