Anya Hindmarch started her business at the age of 19 following her passion for accessories and design. The business has grown from Anya's first shop on London's Walton Street, to fifty three shops worldwide. In 2001, Anya launched the charity promotion 'Be a Bag', which allows customers to have their own photographs printed onto a bag. Be A Bag continues to be a huge success and raises money for charities worldwide. 2007 saw the launch of 'I'm Not A Plastic Bag' in collaboration with the social change movement We Are What We Do.
