and leather.

has joined forces with celebrated chef Tom Aikens to create a unique

DAVID LINLEY BACKGROUND

David Linley founded his furniture company David Linley & Co in
1985. It has now become known simply as Linley. 23 years later the
Linley brand is going strong, and David Linley remains its Chairman.
David's creative ability was nurtured by his parents from an early age
as they encouraged his passion for making things. His talented father,
the eminent photographer Lord Snowdon was particularly influential
having himself trained as an architect and designed amongst other
things the Aviary at London Zoo. David has written three books and has
lectured around the world at prestigious venues such as the V&A
Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

DESIGNER BRITAIN REVIEW

Linley is a unique British company in
many respects. As purveyors of such a wide variety of luxury hand
crafted goods, in the finest woods and metals, the sole comparison is
with the old Asprey & Garrard, or Harrods in its heyday. The
breadth of the range encompasses all manner of goods for dining, bar,
study, drawing room and now kitchen. Linley pieces have longevity, and
their quality of construction and on-going stylistic relevance make
them future classics. The Linley Globe is in our opinion the ultimate
fixture for any office, a traditional design eminently suited to the
age of global commerce. Linley's clients include Elton John, Mick
Jagger, Nina Campbell, Oprah Winfrey, Carolina Herrera, Jo Malone and
David Tang.
