Duchamp Ties Review

Duchamp were originally renowned for their ties, before diversifying into shirts, socks and other men’s accessories. Duchamp fabrics are woven from 100% silk cloth at a long-established silk weaving mill in Suffolk, England, using jacquard looms. The fabrics are then transferred to workshops just outside London, where seamstresses with a minimum of 2 years specialist training use traditional techniques to assemble and finish Duchamp ties. The blades of the ties are normally 9cm wide, with a heavy lining that makes the garment easy to knot securely. As with other Duchamp items, their ties are set apart by intricate patterns, with raised, three dimensional elements created from fine silk threads. Duchamp ties are made with the necessary care and precision to ensure that they are both immaculate and decorative to the eye.

Duchamp Socks Review
Duchamp socks are crafted in Italy, where the company sources many it’s luxurious soft cottons. As with all Duchamp items, the intricacy of the designs on these socks is down to the use of the highest quality knitting techniques. The 80 : 20 ratio of cotton to nylon is desirable for the fact that Duchamp socks will retain their shape far longer than other those of other brands. However it is the beautiful, fascinating designs on Duchamp socks that really appeal, with the company’s unique blend of art and technology capturing the essence of high end British fashion in the early 21st century. The designs feature spots, stripes, dots and flowers, in often whimsical arrangements, that truly represent the ethos of this cutting edge, fashionable and highly desirable British luxury brand.
