| Floris London is one of the world's most traditional perfume makers, established in 1730 by Juan Famenias Floris. Juan began by securing premises in London's St. James's, and then blending oils, essences and fixatives, transported from Europe, into the first Floris fragrances. Floris fragrances quickly became the talk of fashionable London society, while St James's was the epicentre for distinguished London gentlemen in the 18th century. The first Royal Warrant granted to J. Floris Ltd was in 1820, and the company has since held sixteen others, down to the two they hold today. It is Floris's superior quality products, distinctive fragrances and expertise have ensured the healthy survival and unique position of the Floris family business in the world of perfumer's for over 275 years. |
