| Swaine Adeney was founded in 1750 in Piccadilly, London. They received their first Royal Warrant from George III for carriage driving whips, and have received Warrants from successive monarchs thereafter. They continue to apply the centuries old leather goods skills of their original Master Craftsmen in the creation of an exclusive range of travel goods and business cases. In 1943 the company merged with Brigg and Sons the Royal Umbrella Makers. Brigg umbrellas are exquisite items, world renowned for their durability and inimitable class. All Swaine Adeney Brigg attaché cases, document cases, luggage and umbrellas are still produced in the company's Cambridgeshire workshops using the same time honoured hand crafting skills as were employed 250 years ago. |
